A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m.
A chapel service will be held Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.

Mrs. Adriana Guadalupe Cates passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2026, at the age of 56 in Houston, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother-in-law Wilmer and Mary Ann Cates.
Mrs. Cates is survived by her beloved husband Robert Martin Cates, her loving children Robert Martin Cates II, and Kalie Ann Cates. She is also survived by her parents Eugenio and Francisca Lopez, brothers and sister, Rosaisela (Gerardo) Acosta, Raul (Angelica) Olveda, Eugenio Lopez, Jorge (Rosa) Lopez, Emelina Lopez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
