Service Details

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, September 25, 2021, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A rosary will be held at 2:00 p.m.
Inurnment will be held at a later date.

Obituary

Mrs. Alicia Casarez Gomez passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021, at the age of 56 in Katy, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father Jose Casarez Sr., brother Jose Casarez Jr., maternal grandparents Porfirio and Angelita Avalos and her paternal grandparents Jose Casarez and Clara Rubio.
Mrs. Gomez is survived by her beloved husband Jose Alberto Gomez, children Jose Alberto (Renee) Gomez Jr., and Diana Alicia Gomez, grandchildren Julian Gomez, Jose Gomez III, Jayden Gomez, Joel Gomez, Jylicia Green, Bryson Green and Braylen Green. She is also survived by her mother Gloria Amanda Casarez, brothers and sisters Lydia (Enrique) Valdez, Linda (†Santos) Hernandez, Sandy (Ramiro) Cervera, and Humberto Casarez, sister-in-law Diana Cantu, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

  5. Losing someone so dear is devastating, and no words can ever really relieve that pain. But to help, I wish The Gomez & Casarez Family courage and healing during these toughest of days. Cry when y’all feel like it. Let the laughter roll when it comes. And know that Mrs.Alicia will forever live on in the journeys y’all shared together. Mrs.Alicia will be missed dearly.
