It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Andrea Ramirez on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at the age of 82. Born in Anahuac, N.L., Mexico, Andrea brought warmth and love into the world wherever she went.
In the late 1960’s, she made her way to Dallas, Texas, where she met the love of her life, the father of her children. Andrea’s dedication to family was unwavering, and she always put them first, creating a nurturing and loving home.
In 1985, Andrea made a selfless move to Laredo, Texas, to be close to her aging parents. Her compassion knew no bounds, and she continued to exemplify what it meant to be a devoted daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.
A heartfelt thank you is extended to her dear friend and neighbor Eva Sifuentes, who went above and beyond, looking out for Andrea and sharing meals together. Their friendship was a source of comfort and support.
Andrea Ramirez’s legacy of love and selflessness will forever be etched in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her. She leaves behind a family who will carry on her spirit and a community that will forever remember her warmth. May she rest in eternal peace.
