Aurelia Gutierrez passed away Friday, December 25, 2020, at the age of 96 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Juan Gutierrez.
Mrs. Gutierrez is survived by her beloved children Domingo (Graciela) Reyes, Davijilda (†Juan Antonio) Moreno, San Juanita (Evaristo) Jimenez, Irene (Antonio Q.) Casanova and Esmeralda (Alberto) Peña. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 28, 2020 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

I never got to meet Aurelia, but I can tell by the family she raised that she was a sweet and kind-hearted woman, who loved others and cared for them. Sending my condolences to her family, and to her great granddaughter Linda Soliz who I am very grateful to know. My heart goes out to you all and I pray that this holiday season is not only a time of mourning but also celebrating the life and legacy she left behind and remembering her through the good times and the bad and how she held everyone together. May she her soul Rest In Peace. God bless!
