Service Details

Visitation will be held Saturday, September 5, 2020 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.
A prayer service will be recited at 10:00 a.m.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.

In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be limited seating for services. For everyone’s safety please honor the family from a distance. We kindly thank you in advance.

Obituary

Carlos Antonio Gonzalez entered eternal rest on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at the age of 80 in Laredo, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his parents Manuel and Maria de la Luz Gonzalez, son Eduardo Gonzalez and his sister Sylvia Gonzalez de Diaz.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his beloved spouse Rosario Gonzalez, children Carlos Manuel Gonzalez, Alicia Gonzalez, Karla (Rafael) Peña, Carlos (Fely) Gonzalez Jr., Karina (Enrique) Vela and Christian Gonzalez, grandchildren Carlos Alfonso Gonzalez, Luis Enrique Vela, Rebecca Peña, Carlos Antonio Gonzalez III, Rafael Peña and Eduardo “Lalo” Gonzalez. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Manuel (Marta) Gonzalez, Rolando (Socorro) Gonzalez, Eduardo Gonzalez, Lucy Gonzalez, Mercedes Gonzalez and Connie Gonzalez and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

    Tia y primos, nos duele mucho no poder estar con ustedes, nuestro corazón y pensamiento los acompañan en estos momentos y siempre.

    Mi tio ahora disfruta de paz y nosotros estamos felices que se fue rodeado de amor y en amor está, lo vamos a extrañar muchísimo, deja un gran vacío pero también nos deja una gran lista de recuerdos y momentos tan grandes y felices que sabemos que todo lo que hizo, valió la pena.

    Los quiero mucho. Manuel y Martha también envían sus condolencias y deseamos pronta resignación, Dios los bendiga.
