Ms. Celia Garza de Arenivas passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024, surrounded by her family at her side at the age of 77 in Laredo, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her husband Pilar Arenivas, grandson Rolando Sandoval and her parents Jose Garza and Petra Smith de Garza.

Ms. Arenivas is survived by her daughter Diana Sandoval, grandchildren Robert (Christina) Sandoval, Gina (Oscar) Ortiz, and Randy Sandoval.  She is also survived by 15 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
