Ms. Claudia Veronica Benavides Flores passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, at the age of 58 in Tacoma, Washington.
She was preceded in death by her father Manuel Angel Benavides Diaz, and her brother Juan Ramon Benavides Flores, sister-in-law Aida Benavides.
Ms. Benavides is survived by her beloved mother Altagracia Flores De Benavides, brothers and sisters Manuel Angel (Maria Cristina) Benavides Jr., Rene (Maribel) Benavides, Altagracia (Ricardo) Garcia, Irma (Alberto) Benavides, Maria Susana (Juan Manuel) Hinojosa, Maria Guadalupe Benavides, and Deyanira Flores. She is also survived by numerous, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousins, as well as other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers will be Manuel A. Benavides, Rene Benavides, Manuel Abraham Benavides, Rene Benavides Jr., Alberto Benavides Jr., Noe Ivan Benavides, Juan M. Hinojosa Jr., Juliann Hinojosa and Joel Hinojosa.

Aguero Funeral Home
A celebration of her life will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 8:00 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Divine Mercy Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 8:30 a.m.
Interment will be held at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
