  5. The first time I met you was because you were buying a home. And from the first time Beto and I had conversations, Beto asked what football team and basketball team I liked. Me, looking at his shirt, I said “patriots”. Beto told me “eres de los wuenos” in a very humble and friendly way he tapped my shoulders. I knew right away that Beto was an extraordinary human being, a true God’s angel. My friendship was born naturally, I felt so much peace talking to him as if I knew him 100 years. Our last story, I told him if he could inject me bedoyecta from Mexico and he said yes; so went to his bathroom and poom i start getting nervous and he said why are you nervous. Me, todo miedoso, I told him that the injection is big….Beto says “nombre don’t be scared, we’re already done and y ni te desti cuenta” I was like wow !!!!! You’re done ? And he said “yess” and we both started laughing inside the bathroom…….when I was leaving…Beto said “nombre no te vayas Gabby is making pollo dorado , let’s have dinner while watching a basketball game. And so we did. After eating dinner, enjoying watching the game and me feeling better with the injection bedoyecta……I knew I was an ANGEL. I never told Gaby this story …….but it’s stuff like this that Beto did every day with every one he encountered. Beto is a pure good soul to everyone……I will miss my friend Beto from the bottom of earthly heart. I just cannot believe Beto is no longer with us and I will never get over this. But I know he will live in us forever and In many peoples’ heart, soul and mind 🙁 we love you Beto ….I am sorry you didn’t have time to say good bye to all your loved ones , specially your family. My sincere condolences to all the family.

  6. Dear Beto,
Thank you for allowing me to meet you and see the pureness of your heart and soul. You are a light in the world and for many you are an angel. Words can not express the sorrow I feel for knowing that I will not be able to encounter your happy smile and positive energy in meetings. You have left a deep emptiness in the community. Your work in serving others needing care, compassion and a shoulder to lean on has certainly been rewarding and God has it all noted on his book…I pray that your soul rest in peace and that those of us that respect you and love you attempt to be kinder in your honor.
To your family, I can only offer my prayers and sincere condolences. God comfort you all.
