Obituary
Ms. Ernestina R. Barrera passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at the age of 82 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Francisco Barrera, son Francisco Barrera Jr., daughters Maria Francisca Medina, and Yolanda Barrera.
Ms. Barrera is survived by her loving children Miguel (Mary) Barrera, Genobeba (Lauro) De La Rosa, Eliza (Javier) Aranda, Sylvia (Juan) Molina, Bertha (Jorge) Martinez, and Joe (Vicky) Barrera. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

4:00 - 9:00 pm (Central time)
Visitation will be held Monday, January 26, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
