Ms. Esperanza C. Martinez passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at the age of 83in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Serapio and Rita Cantu, and her husband, Agustin Martinez.
Ms. Martinez is survived by her children, Gabriel (Yolanda) Martinez, Martin (Maria Isabel) Martinez, Mario (Laura) Martinez, Rita (Juan) Rodriguez, Agustin Martinez, and Nelda Martinez. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

Visitation
4402 E Saunders St
Visitation will be held Saturday, August 23, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 10:30 a.m.
Interment will follow in Ciudad Anahuac, N.L., Mexico.
