Felicitas Alonzo

Mrs. Felicitas Alonzo passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022, in Laredo, Texas at the age of 93.Felicitas cherished family above all and enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Her passions included spending time at the ranch, reading daily and an occasional visit to the cousins. She had a deep faith in God and devoted her life to daily prayer.She is preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Roberto Ruperto Alonzo; son, Ricardo Alonzo; brothers, Liborio Naranjo, Aureliano Naranjo, Pablo Naranjo, and sister, Isaura Caballero.Mrs. Alonzo is survived by her children, Maria Elena Garcia (Matias), Hector Alonzo, Irma Estela Hidalgo (Ricardo), Rosalinda Salinas (Lauro), Roberto R. Alonzo (Lupita Meza, partner), Maricela Dickinson, Diana Tiemeyer (Eric), Alberto Alonzo, as well as a special close friend to whom she saw as a daughter, Marina Leal. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren 8 great grandchildren; siblings, Sara Torres (Francisco), Olga Soto (†Alejandro), and Irineo Naranjo (Juanita), as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.Due to the current Covid pandemic, temperature checks and the wearing of masks will be enforced for the safety of all.
