Mr. Gumercindo Gamez entered into his eternal glory on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 72 in Laredo, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his parents Antonio and Eila Gamez, and his wife Edith Flores.

Left to cherish his memory is his son Gumercindo H. (Anel) Gamez, grandchildren Edber Gamez (Samantha), Franco Gamez and Natalia Gamez. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters Antonio Gamez, Jesus Gamez, Socorro Gamez, Blanca Gamez, Olesa Gamez, Diana Gamez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
