Ms. Idalia Isabel Medina passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family by her side on Thursday, June 25, 2026, at the age of 59 in Laredo, Texas. Ms. Medina worked as a 911 operator for the Laredo Police Department for over 20 years. She will be greatly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents Marcos Antonio and Idalia Medina, and her husband Jose Guerra, Jr.

Ms. Medina is survived by her daughters Idalia Lizette Rangel (Gustavo De Leon), Samantha Lucette Rangel (Rafael Merla), and Alejandra Isabel Rangel (Tony Garcia). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, sisters Brenda Medina, Violeta Medina, Susana Alvarado, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
