Service Details

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, January 31, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 8:10 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Christ the King Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 8:30 a.m.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be limited seating for services. For everyone’s safety please honor the family from a distance.

Obituary

Mrs. Isabel L. “Chave” Garza passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2021, at the age of 74 in Laredo, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents Leandro and Santos Lara, brothers Jose and Leandro M. Lara, her life partner Antonio Liendo, aunt Sofia C. Zavala and her grandmother Maria de la Luz Zavala.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her daughter Maria L. Arriaga, sons Juan G. (Nora E.) Lara and Antonio (Silvia) Liendo, Jr. She is also survived by her sister Ester Lara, sister-in-law Bertha Lara, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

We are so sorry for your loss. Our most sincere condolences to all the whole family. We will definitely miss Ms Chabelona but she will remain in our hearts forever for we also have very beautiful memories we will always cherish. Big hugs and kisses.
