  6. Condolences to the family of Israel from Hector Cayanan, Texas Department of Transportation. I have worked with Israel and we both had fun attending the Smith Training as a team and since then we became buddies and close friend. He helped me when I needed it most and it sadden me to see him gone. I can still pictured him in mind, the common joke we shared over the years. He is truly missed. So long brother and God bless your soul.

    Blue,
I will miss you my friend. You were always that familiar face I’d run into and our conversations were long and full of laughter. From your TXDoT stories to your ranch stories of the Granjeno, to the many stories in between. You were always a great friend and so full of life. It is not a goodbye but a see you later. God needed an Angel and on earth, eras un ángel like I’d always tell you. May God bless all your family and give them strength. We will always remember you and our stories mi Blue, que descanses en paz amigo, siempre estaras con nosotros.

  15. You know Israel was my best friend. We knew each other for a very very very long time (almost 37 years). I can honestly say that there are few people far and in between that have a bigger heart than he did. He was a genuine, kind, good natured all around a good person. I cant find the words to describe the the sadness that I feel. I can only imagine how the Arriaga family must feel. He will be missed tremendously and I send my prayers to the Arriaga family.

  16. My condolences to the Arriaga family.
Israel, you will be missed not only by me but also my family, Sofia, Amanda, Abrahan and Annette. We enjoyed your presence every time we would get together and share a lot of laughs and good times at my house or at the ranch and our conversations that we had. It’s going to be hard to believe that you are gone without saying to you a good bye.
