Mr. Jaime Enrique Vela entered eternal rest on Friday, November 24, 2023, surrounded by his loving family in Laredo, Texas at the age of 53.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Francisco Javier Vela and Heriberto Vela.
Mr. Vela is survived by his beloved parents Enrique and Sara Alicia Vela, son Jaime Enrique “Henry” Vela Jr., sister Erika Vela (Victor Soto), brothers Alejandro Vela, and Eduardo (Maria Jiménez) Vela. He is also survived by numerous uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.A visitation will be held Monday, November 27, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home, 4402 E. Saunders, Laredo, TX 78041. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m.
A chapel service will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
