John A. Moreland

Mr. John A. Moreland entered eternal rest on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at the age of 61 in Laredo, Texas. Born September 20, 1961, to Richard Lee Moreland, and Janet Horowitz in Alice, Texas. He was a very respected salesman in the oil and gas industry throughout the State of Texas. John’s passion was the ocean and riding his motorcycle with his “true friends” throughout the country.
He was preceded in death by his beloved father Richard Lee Moreland, and his brother Michael Scott Moreland.
Mr. Moreland is survived by his beloved wife Loretta “Lori” Moreland, children Whitney (Mike) Wrong, Jarrett A. Moreland, mother Janet Horowitz, and his brother Richard Kyle (Darlene) Moreland.  He is also survived by his grandchildren Jo Jo Wrong, Jordan Carter Wrong, nephew Austin Kyle Moreland, numerous other relatives, and many friends.

The family will receive condolences on Saturday, August 5, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Seaside Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 4357 Ocean Dr., Corpus Christi, Texas 78412. A chapel service will commence at 1:30 p.m.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Seaside Memorial Park Cemetery in Corpus Christi, Texas.
