Mr. Jose F. “Cheche” Garcia passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 65 in Houston, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his daughter Araceli Garcia, and his parents Arturo and Raquel Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his beloved wife Leticia Garcia, children Jose Francisco (Christina) Garcia Jr., Armando (Marisol) Garcia, Mayra Leticia Garcia (Javier Lopez), and Gisselle Garcia (Marc Contreras). He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, November 7, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.

Interment will follow in the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
