Mr. Jose Rafael Gutierrez passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at the age of 60 in Laredo, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents Jose I. and Josefa Gutierrez.
Mr. Gutierrez is survived by his children Nora Isabel (Sergio) Rendon, Jose Rafael Roberto (Karina) Gutierrez, and Gabriela Alexis Gutierrez, mother of his children Nora Maria Cantu. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, sisters Laura Veronica Gutierrez, Claudia Villanueva, Graciela Gutierrez, Griselda Ramos, numerous other relatives, and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 01, 2026, at 8:20 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to St. Jude Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
