Ms. Josefina M. Guevara passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the age of 92 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by parents Pedro Muñoz and Basilia Jimenez de Muñoz, and her son David Javier Guevara.
Ms. Guevara is survived by her beloved children Antonio (Maria Del Socorro) Guevara, William (Vicenta) Guevara, Basilia Flores, and Fernando (Nidia) Guevara. She is also survived by numerous, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
A Chapel Service will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.
Interment will be held at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
