  1. Juan, you were the best brother a man could have. You were the one brother that supported me without judgement. You encouraged my passion for music and drumming. I will miss our talks and laughs. The memories will live forever in my heart. I will miss you brother. There will never be another like you.

  2. Juan you were the best brother a man could ask for. I will miss you being there for me. You always encouraged my passion for music and drumming. You were always a supportive brother without judgement. I will miss our long talks and to hear your laughter. You are forever in my heart my “canelo”.

Our dearest Juan, our hearts break to know that you are gone, and that you suffered in hands of violence. It gives up peace to know that God is our best vindicator, and that now you live in His kingdom, free, restored, and whole. We will keep you alive in all the wonderful memories we share of you. Like those hot-summer-days of three free-spirited teenagers working on cars together while listening to music on college grounds. Visiting the maternity ward with you and admiring your first born who came early, but who overcame through the grace of God. Your love of music and how that music moved you on the dance floor, with us there alongside you. Know that your perfect smile and kind spirit will live in us. We send you home with tears of sorrow but with the knowledge that someday soon we will all be together in the Lord’s presence. Farewell Juan. With much love, Gero and Linda
