Laurentina Galindo

Laurentina Galindo born on December 15, 1932, in Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas died peacefully at her home at the age of 89 surrounded by family on Thursday, February 17, 2022.She was a beautiful, loving, kind, giving, and devoted daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a great cook, loved gardening, and was a crafty seamstress. Her family was her focus; she loved and took care of them to the end. Laurentina will be greatly missed.She is preceded in death by her parents, Ignacio and Catalina Villarreal, Brothers Ignacio Villarreal, Gustavo Villarreal, Sisters Maria E. Villarreal, and Guadalupe Villarreal.She is survived by her husband of almost 65 years Ramiro Galindo, Children: Ramiro I. (Rosario) Galindo, Sergio (Maricela) Galindo, Maria Elena (Eduardo) Agüero, Patricia (Jesus) Morales, and Nydia Galindo.Grandchildren: Ramiro I. Jr., Ashley Denise, Maricela Yvette, Jessica Yvonne, Sergio Jr., Stefanie Renee, Eddie Jr., Catalina Alexis, Roberto Javier (RJ), Lauren Dolores, and Danielle Alexis, and 7 great-grandchildren.The family would like to express their thanks to her caregivers: Rebecca Castillo, Elizabeth Alonzo, and Elizabeth Presas and also to Altus Hospice and their staff, especially her Nurse Marqui Ramirez and CNA Maria Teresa Martinez.Pallbearers: Ramiro I. Galindo, Sergio Galindo, Eduardo Agüero Jr, Sergio Galindo Jr., Ramiro I. Galindo Jr., and Roberto Javier (RJ) Agüero.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, February 20, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be on Monday, February 21, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 10:00 a.m.Interment will be held at the family plot at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
