Mrs. Maria del Carmen Serna passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2021 at the age of 90 in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her children, Natalia Nelda Serna, Enrique Alberto Serna, and Maria Berta Serna.
Mrs. Serna is survived by her husband Ramon Serna, Jr.; children, Jose Luis (Berta) Serna, Victor Manuel Serna, Sara Serna (Ivan Gomez), Ramon (Vera) Serna, Jr., Jesus (Angie) Serna, Juan Ruben Serna, Natalia Ramoncita Serna, Eduardo (Sandra) Serna, Alejandro (Nelly) Serna, Diana Laura Serna, Juan Antonio Serna, Antonio Juan Serna. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, friends, and relatives.

Mon & I will dearly miss our Mama Serna. She accepted me as one of her own when my mother passed 30 years ago. I loved her so very much. Our hearts are aching but accept that she is resting peacefully. God bless all the family.

I was blessed to have known such an amazing mother-in-law, she took me in and treated me as a daughter. Her words of wisdom and smiles I will truly miss a lot. Having her in my life brought me so much joy and happiness. Our hearts ache but we both know she is in the company of loved ones in heaven. She is watching over us all now and showering us all with eternal love.
