Service Details

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from four o’clock in the afternoon until nine o’clock in the evening on Wednesday the 9th of November, at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St. in Laredo. A prayer service for the deceased will commence at seven o’clock.

Inurnment will be held at a later date.

The family would like to give their utmost sincere gratitude to her nurses Jesus Ramirez, Martha Sobiech, and Juan Gallegos, her caregivers Beatriz Medina, Goyita Reyes, and Judith Martinez for the care given to Mrs. Fuentes during her time of need.

Obituary

Mrs. Maria Minerva Fuentes passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Sunday, November 6, 2022, in Laredo, Texas at the age of 94.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lino and Santos Torres, and her daughter Sandra Fuentes.

Mrs. Fuentes is survived by her children Nora (†Victor) Alvarado, Leonor Lozano, Maria M. (Eddie Jo) Davis, Orfelinda (†Charles) Corrales, Juan Fuentes Jr., Egla (Joel) Garcia, Maribel Fuentes (Jose Lara), and David Fuentes. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
