Visitation will be held Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at of Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A rosary will be held at 6:00 p.m.
A chapel service will be held on Thursday, October 29, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041.
Interment will be held at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.

Mrs. Maria de Jesus Ortiz passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the age of 82 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Luis Ortiz, parents Enrique Rubio and Amparo Alvarado De Rubio and her sister Lesvia Mendoza.
Mrs. Ortiz is survived by her loving children Luis (Elsa) Ortiz Jr., Ernie Ortiz, Hector Ortiz, and Celina Marie Ortiz. She is also survived by his grandchildren Louie III, Charles Aaron, and Hector Jr. Ortiz, great-grandchildren Amber Alexandra, Amber Rose and Luis IV Ortiz, brother Carlos R. (Dinorah) Martinez, and numerous other relatives.
