Ms. Maria A. Rodriguez passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at the age of 80 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Santos Rodriguez Sr., daughter Maricela Rodriguez, and her son Santos Rodriguez, Jr.
Ms. Rodriguez is survived by her loving children Rafaela (Eduardo) Hinojosa, Juan (Maria T.) Rodriguez, Homero (Belinda) Rodriguez, Veronica (Juan Martin) Ferdin, and Patricia (Fidel) Perez. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law Ana G. Rodriguez, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
The family would like to extend their utmost sincere gratitude to her caregivers, Deborah Alvarado and Patricia Benavides, for the care given to Ms. Rodriguez during her time of need.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 15, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Holy Redeemer Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.
