Melissa Selina Lecea

Ms. Melissa Selina Lecea passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023, in Victoria, Texas at the age of 34. We shall remember Melissa as a sweet, caring, nourishing loving soul who was always willing to help whether she had or did not have the means to give safe haven to whoever needed it. She did not discriminate. She adored her children and was always scavenging to find ways to better their lives. Melissa was a great homemaker that brought great warmth and affection to her children's home. She was a great mom, daughter, sister, aunt, grandma, and a sweet, loving soul to anyone who came to meet her. She gave people the benefit of the doubt until there was nothing left! Melissa was a 2006 graduate of Gateway Academy who graduated with honors in Laredo, TX. She was voted as "Spring Queen" at MS Ryan Elementary in 2000. Melissa was employed with Texas Workforce Solutions in Laredo for six years and worked for Texas Workforce Solutions of Golden Crescent in Victoria, TX where she currently resided. A very intelligent and loving young lady who left too soon! Melissa’s warm heart, bright spirit and can-do personality will be greatly missed!
