Mia “Princess” Martinez, 15, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2021 surrounded by her family in Corpus Christi, Texas.She is preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Maria del Carmen Portillo.Princess Mia is survived by her beloved parents Arturo and Thelma Martinez, brothers and sisters Arturo Martinez III, Samantha Martinez, Emmanuel Martinez and Victoria Nicole Martinez. She is also survived by her paternal grandfather Arturo Martinez Herrera, Maternal grandparents Jose Guillermo and Maria Araceli Molina, numerous other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Pastor Ruth Alaniz.A chapel service will be held Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Aguero Funeral and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, Texas 78041.Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.In accordance with CDC safety precautions, we ask everyone attending funeral services to wear a mask and practice social distancing. There will be limited seating for services. For everyone’s safety please honor the family from a distance.
