Mrs. Monica Cuevas passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 27, 2024, at the age of 71 in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her father Zaragoza Cantu, and her beloved husband Rosalio Cuevas.
Mrs. Cuevas is survived by her children Luis Fernando (Anna Laura) Cuevas, Javier Alberto (Jeronima) Cuevas and Melissa Mayela Cuevas. She is also survived by her mother Macaria Cantu, sister Margarita (Juan Antonio) Martinez, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive condolences on Tuesday December 3, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
