Mr. Oswaldo M. García passed away Friday, August 25, 2022, at the age of 88 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by his loving family. Oswaldo was born September 21, 1933, He was a lifelong resident of Laredo. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Our father loved spending time with his family and would always make sure everyone’s’ needs were met before his own. Our father was a man of few words, but he was always there to help those in need either monetarily or providing a meal or shelter. Our family is heartbroken, he left another huge void in our hearts, but we find comfort that he is now with his beloved.
He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Josefina R. García. For them, “Death is never an end but to be continued.” That’s how our parents’ life will be up in heaven, continued
Oswaldo is survived by his eight children Martha E. Martínez (†Daniel Martínez, Jr.), Roberto A. García, Araceli G. Marfil (Felix), Rocio L. Yanes (Joe), Maria G. Navarro (†Randall Navarro), Griselda Soto, Osvaldo M. García, Jr. and Jaime Garcia (Aracely).
