Raul Lira, Sr.

Mr. Raul Lira, Sr. entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 30, 2023, surrounded by his loving family in Laredo, Texas at the age of 76.He was preceded in death by his parents Tomas and Margarita Lira, son Ramon Lira, great-grandchildren Andrew Joshua Fox, Calvin Steven Kosar, and Lories Eli Soto.Mr. Lira is survived by his beloved wife Juana Lira, children San Juanita Camacho, Martha Esquivel, Ana M. Lira (Serafín Rodriguez), Raúl (Alejandra) Lira Jr., Adela M. Lira (Agustín Zuñiga), and Josefina Lira (Juan C. Carreón). He is also survived by his daughter-in-law Rosa Lira, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Visitation will be held Sunday, April 2, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home, 4402 E. Saunders, Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m.Funeral services will be held Monday, April 3, 2023, at 9:10 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m.Interment will be held at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
