Ms. Rebeca Martinez passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 12, 2024, in Laredo, Texas at the age of 76.

She was preceded in death by her parents Manuel Gonzalez Flores and Juanita Ramos Garza, and her husband Francisco Javier Martinez.

Left to cherish her memory are her children Mayda M. (Rodolfo) Lopez, Brenda M. (ϯ Fernando) Alcala, and Javier Martinez. Ms. Martinez is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sisters Sara Gonzalez Maldonado, Guadalupe Reyna Gonzalez, and numerous other relatives.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, January 17, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m.

A chapel service will be held Thursday, January 18, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
