Ricardo Medina

Ricardo Medina joined our Lord in his heavenly kingdom on Saturday, September 23, 2023. He was affectionally known by many as Ricky, Richie, or Richio. He was a man of unique characteristics and whose free spirit saw him travel around the country. He was a graduate of Cigarroa High School where he proudly participated in his favorite sports, Football and Baseball. He saw vast employment throughout his life. He worked for Variety Meat Market, Frito Lay, and a host of other side jobs. He was a well-known scorekeeper for the Laredo Softball Association. He will greatly be missed by all his family and many friends he made along the way.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymundo Medina, Sr. and Ninfa Madrigal de Medina.
Left to cherish his memory are his siblings San Juanita, Raymundo Jr., Rosario, and Renato as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends.
Pallbearers will be Renato Medina, Santos Salazar, Santiago Fonseca III, Gabriel Melve Sr., Gabriel Melve, Jr., Raymundo Medina Jr., Barney D. Garcia, and Joey Santos.
Special gratitude to Jackie and the Garcia Family for their generosity with their time as they looked after Rick in his later years.
In lieu of flowers donations are gladly accepted.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 29, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.
Inurnment will follow at a later date.
