Mr. Roberto Magallanes passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the age of 80 in Laredo, Texas.
Mr. Magallanes is survived by his beloved wife Librada Magallanes, son Bernardo (Nelly) Magallanes, and his daughter Dorothy Magallanes. He is also survived by his grandchildren Mario Felipe Cortez Jr., Roberto Damian Cortez, Amanda Mahen, Anna Victoria Magallanes, Bernardo Miguel Magallanes, numerous nieces, nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.

A celebration of his life will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to San Jose Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be held at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.
