Mr. Roberto R. Maldonado was born June 20, 1939, in Laredo, Texas where he was born and raised passed away December 20, 2023, at the age of 84. He was self-employed for over 30 years Maldonado Floor covering doing work for many prominent people in Laredo and surrounding communities. He loved dancing, music but most of all hosting barbecues and spending time with his loving family and was always ready to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Mr. Maldonado was a big fan of the Laker’s dream team and the Dallas Cowboys. He will be dearly missed by all his family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Agustin Maldonado, Sr. and Inez Garcia de Maldonado, brothers and sisters Agustin Maldonado Jr., Olga M. Santos, Minerva Rivera, Raul Maldonado Sr., and Irma Perez.

Mr. Maldonado is survived by his loving wife of 57 years of marriage Bertha L. Maldonado, children Graciela (Jimmy) Medina of Del Rio, Texas, Roberto R. (Rocio) Maldonado of Laredo, Texas, Ricardo R. (Maria) Maldonado of San Antonio, Texas, and his brother Oscar (Olga) Maldonado of Laredo, Texas. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, December 26, 2023, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home, 4402 E. Saunders, Laredo, TX 78041. A vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:00 p.m.
p.m.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2023, at 9:00 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home to San Martin de Porres Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:30 a.m.

Interment will follow at the family plot in the Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
