Ms. Romana G. Lozano passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Friday, August 1, 2025, at the age of 96 in Laredo, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her husband Rafael Lozano Jr., daughter Esmeralda A. Lozano, son Javier Lozano, and her nephew Andy Bernal, Jr.
Ms. Lozano is survived by her loving children David (Martha) Lozano, Rosalinda (Jose) Arce, Laura (ϯ Armando) Garza, and Rafael (Juanita) Lozano, III. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law Beda Lozano, Maria Esther Bernal, grandchildren Melissa, David Jr., Fernando, Claudia, Monica, Esmeralda, Richard, Lorraine, Randy, Clarisa, Abigail, Rafael, Javier Jr., Leslie, Sofia, numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family would like to express their utmost sincere gratitude to her caregivers Esmeralda Martinez (granddaughter) and Claudia Espinoza, nurse Edward Lightner, therapist Patricia Garza, LMC Wound Care and Primary Ambulance Team for the care given to Ms. Lozano during her time of need.
Pallbearers will be Rafael E. Lozano, Franky Cortez, Victor Zuñiga, Fernando Martinez, Richard Martinez, David Lozano Jr., Clarisa Lozano, and Javier Lozano, Jr.
Honorary pallbearers will be Rafael Lozano III, David Lozano, and Randy Lozano.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 07, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to St. John Neumann Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
