Sara Alicia Gutierrez entered eternal rest in the early hours of July 23rd, 2020 at the age of 56. Sara was born on June 8th, 1964 and was a lifelong resident of Laredo, TX. She graduated from Martin High School in 1982. What Sara enjoyed more than anything in the world was spending as much time as she could with her granddaughter Maya. She was the light of her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jesus and Francisca Gutierrez, and her brother Oscar Rene Garcia.
Sara is survived by her only daughter June (Edgar) Luna, her granddaughter Maya, sisters Sylvia and Diana Gutierrez, her brothers Arturo and Jesus (Linda) Gutierrez, her nephews Jose Rodriguez and Juan Manuel Gala Jr, nieces, Claudia, Jennifer, Linda, Selena, and Jessica Gutierrez, and her best friend of 52 years, San Juanita Gonzalez.

I was saddened when I heard you had passed away. A couple a week ago we saw each other and exchange number to have dinner and catch up . We we’re not able too due to the spreading of the virus . Again we see each and we talked like no ending but I had to return back to work .
Sara you were a woman always happy and with a smile no matter what kind of a day you were having .
We have fun memories from high school which I’ll always treasure. You will always hold a special place in my heart .
