4:00 - 9:00 pm (Central time)
A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to San Luis Rey Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in the Laredo City Cemetery.

Ms. Soledad Vedarte passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her side on Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 73 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband Alfredo Vedarte Jr., granddaughter Brandy Vedarte, brothers and sisters Pedro Vargas, Estela Sanchez, Elvia Gonzalez, Jesus Vargas, and Gloria Vasquez.
Ms. Vedarte is survived by her children Eduardo (Rosa A.) Gonzalez, Ezequiel (Rocio) Gonzalez, Esteban (Melissa) Gonzalez, Joel (Blanca) Vedarte, and Joanne (Yoannet) Diaz-Perez. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, sister Alicia Vasquez, brothers Luis Vargas, Ricardo Vargas, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
