Visitation
A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
Obituary
Ms. Sylvia Garay passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family at her side on Friday, March 13, 2026, at the age of 67 in Laredo, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father Rafael Mario Gonzalez.
Ms. Garay is survived by her children Jessica Garay, Francisco (Berenice) Garay Jr., Brenda Garay, Javier (Beatrice Adriana) Garay, Fernando Garay, Guillermo (Wendy) Garay, Oscar (Erika) Garay and her beloved mother Socorro Gonzalez. She is also survived by her grandchildren Ashley Yvette (Gilberto) Rodriguez, Jorge Luis Cruz Jr., Brianna, Alondra, Aurora and Andrea Garay, Anthony Duncan Martinez, Andrew Marcell Stincer, Noah and Camila Garay, Carolyne and Sophia Garay, Dante Alexsander Garay, brothers, sisters, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
