Ms. Teresa Vargas Nava passed away Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at the age of 87 in Laredo, Texas surrounded by her loving family.
She is preceded in death by her daughter Maria De Los Angeles Ortega Vargas, and her husband Benito Morales Ortega.
Ms. Vargas Nava is survived by her loving children Herminia (†José Francisco) Zamarripa Ortega, Francisco Ortega Vargas (Maria Guadalupe), Alma Reyna Ortega Vargas, Angel Ortega Vargas (San Juanita), Juan Ignacio Ortega Vargas (Rosanely), Hilda Ortega Vargas, and Laura Ortega Vargas. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

The family will receive condolences on Sunday, March 10, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium, 4402 E. Saunders St., Laredo, TX 78041. A rosary will be held at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. from Aguero Funeral Home and Crematorium to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for a Holy Mass at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
